Lanzavoj

extra-delicate fruity

Lanzavoj is the full identification between the land and the fruit. We have chosen the ancient name of a plot of our olive groves, which since the dawn of time has signed the Biancolilla plateau. This oil was created to fully express its delicacy, allowing it to be tenderly loved from the very first encounter.

Variety: 100% Biancolilla
Harvesting period: 1 oct / 15 nov
Sight: deep green
Nose: delicate fruity with a clear scent of artichoke, green tomato and freshly cut grass.
Taste: harmonious, delicate, pleasantly bitter and spicy
Pairings: raw on salads, white meat, fish or “simply” on a slice of hot bread

October 1st, the 274th day of the year in the Gregorian calendar, is instead the first in the calendar of those waiting for the olive harvest. It is the first taste, the most delicate. This oil is inspired by the promise of adventure, of travel: it is the certainty of the effort that comes from the earth, but more than anything else of the generosity of time and nature.

Nose: very persistent, characterized by the clear scent of olive with strong hints of fresh grass, thistle, basil and green tomato

Pairings: suitable for use raw on refined fish dishes, white meats, salads, and on any dish with a delicate taste

Agathae

The Greek Agathòs is not simply translated as “very good”. For the Greek world “kalos kai agathos” – “beautiful and good” – is the definition of the ideal man; the consummation of bodily perfection that of the spirit. In the same sense, Latin referred to Agathae as the good, the virtuous. This oil is inspired by goodness as an inner virtue par excellence, a delicate balance between strength and harmony.

Nose: very persistent, characterized by the clear scent of olive with strong hints of fresh grass, artichoke, basil and green tomato

Valle dell'Irminio

The river Irminio, which crosses our olive groves, takes its name from the god Hermes, who fell in love with the nymph Daphne here. This oil is a tribute to its valleys, deep and sinuous, rich in vegetation that has evolved through millennia without receiving disturbance by the hand of mankind.

Variety: 100% Cetrake
Harvesting period: 1 oct / 25 oct
Sight: deep green
Nose: very persistent, characterized by the clean scent of green tomato and in a lesser tone of fresh grass and leaf
Taste: full and intense, harmonious, spicy and bitter in balance with an aftertaste of artichoke and spices
Pairings: suitable for use raw on refined red meat dishes, roasts, pulses, salads and dressings and on ricotta cheese desserts

Sesto

With the awareness that the whole is always more than the sum of the parts, this oil is inspired by the fullness that we experience in our lives through the unitary whole of body and mind, of thought and feeling. The “Sesto” (meaning “the sixth”) is a sensation that is surprisingly more intense than the sum of the five senses: it is the entirety, the absolute perception.

Nose: delicate but intense in emotions, very persistent, characterized by the clear scent of green olive with strong hints of freshly cut grass, artichoke, green tomato

L'Incanto

The Incanto (meaning “enchantment”) is the moment that opens emotions. An elective affinity links this oil to a piece by Maestro Franco Polizzi, who interpreted the sharing of his love for the land of Sicily into an image: his brush is imbued with Mediterranean emotions and the lights of the Hyblean countryside. It is the explosion of nature exactly in the enchanted place where this oil is born.
